What is S.A.T. 2025?
We have created a race! The contestants are all Universities in the UK that use animals in research. The winner will be the first university to stop using animals in 2025. Will it be a university that usually completes 100`s or 1,000`s or over 100,000 procedures every year? Will the winner be your local university? You can help them get to the finishing line first and we will help you!
- We will be emailing all universities that use animals in their research. We will invite them to join the race to be the first university to stop using animals in 2025. We will publish all replies we receive.
- We will publish phone numbers so you can call to ask universities to stop using animals.
- We will publish email addresses you can write to asking universities to stop using animals.
- We will publish addresses of universities that use animals, so you can visit them and ask why they use animals or maybe you can hold your own protest.
- You can write to your local MP and ask them what they think about your local university using sentient beings in research, who cannot give their consent. Can your local MP help the university to see that using animals is wrong?
